Calling All Creatives: Time to Make Your Mark

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

In a world facing that is facing increasing challenges, there is one human superpower that the Reynolds brothers are confident will come to the rescue: creativity. Human ingenuity, persistence, and creative problem solving are needed to tackle a host of global problems - from cleaner energy to community development, from poverty to access to clean water, from the causes & impact of climate change to access to more affordable and equitable wellness for all. To that end, the Reynolds are dedicated to inspiring creativity and bravery in the next generation of creative problem-solvers around the globe.

Peter and Paul proudly proclaim their 200-year mission - to create and share positive media, storytelling and technology to move the world to a better place. The impact of their films, storybooks for all ages, and creativity software has been felt by millions around the globe - especially in classrooms, school libraries and other places of learning. Core to their message is the deep-seated belief that creative human potential exists in every young learner. But this unfolding gift must be both protected from a myriad of pressures (fear, self-doubt, test-centric schooling, etc.) - and fostered as early as possible and encouraged life-long.

Share the Reynolds’ personal journeys, which gave them the courage not only to navigate their own unique creative work, but led them to make it their own life’s mission to encourage others to do the same.

Enjoy snippets of their acclaimed short animated films and storybooks that continue to inspire others rethink old systems of learning that stifle the very creativity that this next generation of learners will need to take on our planet’s future demands, conflicts and crises.

And, as they will insist, be ready to “connect the dots” with Peter and Paul who mean business when it comes to build a network of creatives who have the vision, verve and commitment to use their own creativity to make this world a better place. They are excited to connect with the BLC community who they know have been dedicated to this very mission - and are here to remind us all - now more than ever, the world is depending on the work we have been proudly dedicated to for decades.
