When Pigs Fly: Student Lead Distance Learning

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Take your lesson to the next level by giving your students the platform to lead. I will discuss how my students wrote, directed, and produced interactive distance learning experiences that supported the objectives in our 8th grade science class. We will explore the process that my students lined out as they created a clever spin on an interactive pig dissection that connected them with over 800 students. Using distance learning tools, they were able to connect and create experiences for students across the state while deepening their own understanding of the content.
