Making Connections with Visual Note Taking

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

"Visual note taking is a means to better process information and share it with others. While in a professional development session, you listen, process, and sketch. During the session, you are attuned to the information presented, focusing on important concepts, capturing ideas, and illustrating purposefully. With experience, your practice improves and you begin to listen better, process better, sketch better. Students can take notes visually, too. Imagine the potential in their understanding when they are processing and making connections and sketching their thoughts during class! In this session, we will practice visual note taking and learn about the potential benefits of this creativity outlet.

Attendees should bring iPads with the Paper by FiftyThree app loaded to explore this resource.
